Yesterday saw the release of this hilarious music video for motion designers.
It’s full of inside jokes about working in the motion design industry and the challenges, methods and experiences we face every day.
The guys at Daily Planet ltd. have done a totally awesome job at putting this together, and by the looks of things, the design community is loving it.

Bata Chef Works Promo

PROJECT TYPE: In-House Presentation

CATEGORY: Motion & 3D Design

CLIENT: Bata Industrials

DESCRIPTION: A promo I created to play at a meeting between Bata Industrials & Chef Works, showcasing Bata’s quality footwear options for use in the chef & hospitality industry.

INVOLVEMENT: I was responsible for creating everything in the presentation using 3D Studio Max & After Effects. The four 3D shoes were built using the real shoes as reference, and rendered out in passes, which were then composited in After Effects. The tech map & info-pointer animations were created in Illustrator and supplemented with elements from Digital Juice’s Motion Designer’s Toolkits to help speed up production

Finally got round to getting all my work up on the site.

Now I can shift my focus to landing more work & creating more cool stuff.
